Repair, restore, reuse, reimagine ♻️
Welcome to San Antonio Reuse!
As the homepage of the City of San Antonio's Deconstruction & Circular Economy Program and related initiatives, San Antonio Reuse is a hub for information, resources, and inspiration.
From details on the deconstruction policy initiative to tips for reusing building materials in your own home or community, we've got something for everyone.
Our mission is to transition San Antonio to a circular city: one that reframes waste as a resource and generates local economic, cultural, and social prosperity through the repair, reuse, and reimagining of existing materials.

Sometimes called “construction in reverse” or “unbuilding,” deconstruction removes a building through careful disassembly of its parts and pieces to maximize material reuse. Learn all about the benefits of deconstruction - for the environment, for the economy, and for the community - by watching our short animation.
